Beauty Secrets Across the Globe
Across the globe women of all cultures have their own unique rituals to achieve beauty. There are many reasons to want to be beautiful. Attracting the opposite sex is certainly a big motivator. When you look attractive you seem to be noticed more and treated a little better as well, which builds up your ego a bit and it is nice to feel good about yourself. This article will attempt to give away beauty secrets of women from various countries around the world.
Marilyn Monroe
India Miss
India
In India, they have an amazing recipe for your hair. Get 14 ounces of unsweetened coconut milk in a bowl and refrigerate overnight. The following day apply the milk to your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. Follow that up with a shampoo and rinse. No other conditioner is necessary. They recommend you do this treatment once a month. Your hair will be conditioned and moisturized with an incredible shine plus it will feel much stronger. In India women use less face creams and lotions but prefer facial oils.
Contrary to Western beliefs the right oil will not clog the pores and the skin will have a beautiful radiance without looking greasy. The women in India use oils and add crushed pearls, as well, as, superficial shimmers. The skin becomes ultra nourished. They use this oil all year long, but it is particularly helpful in the harsh cold climates as the liquid absorbs very well. Sandalwood oil is also added as an anti-aging and scar-healing benefit.
Japanese Lady
Japan
Japanese women have been known to use bird droppings from a special bird to brighten their skin.
Also, Asian women love a luxury brand of what is known as “miracle water” which was discovered in a Japanese sake brewery almost 30 years ago. It was notice that workers who handled the fermented sake still possessed remarkably youthful looking hands. One woman used any brand of sake as a facial toner and brightening treatment once a week and at age 80 her skin looked flawless and amazing. Since that discovery the luxury skin care brand has added vitamins, minerals, organic and amino acids, which work together to help rejuvenated the skin’s appearance by promoting cell renewal in the outer layer and stimulating the natural surface regeneration process.
French Beauty
France
French women love an ice-cold water splash after washing their faces. I have heard this is the same thing Paul Newman did every morning and he sure was a good looking man. Joan Crawford also used this secret for years. The French find this treatment revitalizes the complexion and make the skin feel wonderful. It gives the skin an icy boost and a healthy rosy glow. The French women are religious about this activity on a daily basis as they want to look good as long as possible.

One of the treatments the Morocco women use is argan oil, which comes from a tree. The emollient isn’t greasy but makes the hair and skin feel and look shiny and gives a luminous glow.
African Lady
Africa
In Africa the women all over the continent use milk in their baths too. You can also use powdered milk, adding two cups to your bath and this will renew your skin. Cleopatra isn’t the only one who liked milk baths.
Italian Beauty
Italy
In Italy the women not only drink goat’s milk they also bathe in it for the softening results. Goat’s milk is suppose to contain capric and captylic acids which reduce alkalinity. There are over the counter types which you can buy that will reduce alkalinity, resulting in a pH level closest to health human skin. Italian women also us castor oil to obtain long, thick eyelashes
Chinese Lady
China
Chinese woman and some Pacific Rim countries do not like sunspots or freckled skin. They favor the lily white look, poreless and flawless skin. They use items to brighten their complexions. Pearl powder is found in pearl face creams and also found in vials at apothecaries all over the orient. Women drink this powder in a cup of hot water like tea for good health and they add water to it to use as a face mask to whiten their skin
Fourteen Do it Yourself Health and Beauty Tips
Thailand Beauty
Thailand
In Thailand women adore coconut milk and use it for cooking, to mix with cocktails and in exotic desserts. Thai women also use coconut milk in warm baths, moisturizing skin treatments and on their hair. They also use pearl cream to brighten their faces. There is a type of bitter melon found in vegetable markets, applied as a skin treatment for acne. These are definitely what I would consider natural beauty treatments.
Greek Goddess
Greece
Greek yogurt is a thick creamy treat that is used also as a face mask. It is a moisturizing and gently exfoliating mask. You scoop a teaspoon of it and apply in on a clean face. It is also good for acid reflux in case you have that problem. Another Mediterranean staple is olive oil. Beside the fact it is good for a healthy diet, you can take a Q-tip and dab on your eye lashes to moisturize and supposedly aid in growth for long lush lashes.
Polish Princess
Poland
The Polish start their day with a cup of hot water infused with a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to help detoxify your body inside and out.
Honey is used up as a beauty product; they warm it and use in on the face as a super moist facial treatment. Polish teens use honey as a lip-softening treatment.
Bahamas Mama
Bahamas
In the Bahamas, they use a fresh papaya mask starting as children to maintain their beautiful complexions. Avocado oil is also credited and used for controlling unruly fly-away hair.
Belgium Miss
Belgium
In Belgium these beauties swear by a cold beer brew as a great drink and one they wear also. They use the beer for a final hair rinse which makes bouncy hair that behaves. They also use a warm honey face mask by heating the honey in the double boiler just until warm. Then, smooth in on your face. Wash off after several minutes. They also use mink oil to reduce stretch marks and fine lines.
Brazilian Lady
Brazil
In Brazil the women use Babassu oil which is similar to coconut oil. They use it at room temperature and the oil has a semi-solid form which melts when applied to the body, although it has a cool feeling. It moisturizes without making the skin look greasy and works for all skin types. Many Brazilian women also lie on the warm sand and rub it on themselves gently while sunbathing or after swimming to create that exotic brown skin color. This type of treatment is also available in some spas. Brazilian women naturally have unruly hair problems so the most popular treatment is called “Excova Progressiva”. This refines curly hair although as a hair straighten but it does have keratin, but it is milder than most hair straighteers. The other thing the women of Brazil do is drink a mixture of carrot and beet juice for their skin which is very healthy.
United States with Summary
As a multi-cultural country, the United States has people using all types of skin care products. Skin care is a multi-million dollar business in this country. We have special skin care cosmetics, and anti aging skin care products as well. More people are starting to use natural skin car products now, plus spas are money making places. We love to get our hair styled, to get a manicure or pedicure also.
We also have a multitude of hair care products to choose from, but again more people are choosing natural hair care products. Hair care is also a multi-million dollar business with women getting their hair streaked, dyed, braided, conditioned and styled.
I think we can learn some things along the lines of natural remedies for clean smooth skin and healthy shiny hair by learning what is being done in other countries. Skin care and hair care from around the world opens up a whole new door.
